Tutoring service is beneficial for those who have inadequacies and disabilities in certain skill or learning. Individuals, regardless of their age and gender, may receive tutoring service to enhance their skill and boost their leaning. This may serve as reinforcement or remediation to excel in certain subject.

Full Attention – it is one of the significant benefits of tutoring a student may get. A quiet or timid student may find it difficult to get adequate attention during typical classroom-based session. On the other hand, tutoring allows the student to ask questions and know what they want or need to know which maybe impossible during formal learning session.

Informal Setting – pressure could be one of the reasons why children struggle in particular class or subject. But with the environment that tutoring program provides, the child will be able to learn with ease and much comfort. Tutoring service can be received in the student’s home which provides higher comfort level and reduces pressure.

Learning difficulties can be identified – If an academic tutoring program is provided by the classroom teacher, identification of student’s learning predicaments can be easier. If the student shows learning weakness in the class, there must be some reasons behind this. Through individual interaction between the teacher and the student, these predicaments can be looked at and addressed.

Small group learning – one great way for some children to learn is to receive tutoring service while they are with their peer’s company. This kind of tutoring, also known as peer tutoring or small-group tutoring, is provided to 3 to 5 students. As they learn together with the other students, motivation to learn and to progress will be stimulated during the sessions.

Enhanced student’s academic performance – an effective tutoring service can help the student to improve his/her academic performance as certain learning weakness is addressed and remedied during tutoring session. And once the student achieves passing mark in particular subject, he/she doesn’t have to stop from receiving tutoring service. The student may still necessitate learning remediation through his academic career. It is one of the most significant advantages of a tutoring program. It addresses student’s changing academic needs continuously.
